Shabby Chic Florence Annie Sloan Mix

Wednesday, August 15, 2012

I wanted to try something bold for this buffet so i choose Annie Sloan Florence and custom mixed it. Here is a before of the buffet.

After I painted the buffet,  I decided to make a custom mix of glaze and wax to show of the details on the buffet.

    1. I used white paint for the details than i glazed it with my custom mix. I did not want the glaze to be too dark.

  4. Absolutely supercool! How did you mix the glaze and wax -- I mean, what kind of proportions? (I'm guessing that "stirring" is how you mixed it!) Found your blog via your CL ad for the farmhouse table. Which I'm sitting here, trying to talk myself OUT of buying! :)

    1. I used mainly wax with a little bit of glaze to tint the wax. The farmhouse table was one of my favorite projects but now its sold. If you would like to see more of my stuff, please visit the Phoenix Antiques and Collectibles Mall, 3120 N. May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK.I will be restocking my booth this weekend. :-)
